It was the Oscars of 2001, when Bjork got the attention of many when she came to the affair in her iconic swan dress. That was a night of rebellion against Hollywood glamour. Among the sea of haute couture gowns walked this fowl inspired dress. The guy responsible for this is Marjan Pejoski. Some thought that Pejoski would remain a fashion joke after that incident, but the avant -garde set were more impressed than outraged. He got the New Generation Award by the British Fashion Council for two consecutive years, did London Fashion weeks, before moving his shows to Paris. He is now a big name in the non-conformist fashion market, especially in Japan where he also designs under the Tokyo–based brand DressCamp.
